Mr. Alex Gallo and Mr. Don Rassler participated in the Combating Terrorism Center’s first speaking event at the Union League Club in New York City on 8 January 2012.  At this event, Mr. Rassler presented his findings from his research report on the Haqqani Network entitled “The Haqqani Nexus and the Evolution of al-Qa’ida”.  Additionally, Mr. Gallo and Mr. Rassler answered questions from the audience on a range of terrorism and counterterrorism topics.
